Why Main St., you ask?
Grapevine is a wonderful city that is full of history, with it being the oldest settlement in Tarrant County. Although the city has expanded exponentially over the years, Grapevinians take pride in keeping Main Street historic and they do this with the help of the family-owned/small businesses that line Main St. as far as the eye can see. The district hosts several events throughout the year and of course we couldn’t miss one of our favorites, GrapeFest!!!
I mean, who doesn’t love shopping outside on a beautiful September day while drinking some amazing locally featured wine? Of course, we all do and that’s why we had to debut it here for y’all to enjoy.
You start your wine day off with some gorgeous views of the historic train station at the entrance of the event, but don’t be too distracted and forget to take a picture of the map. It’ll come in handy if for some reason your walking becomes impaired on this wine journey. Kick off the adventure with your favorite wine in hand as you browse through all the wonderful vendors. While navigating through, make sure to pop into the shops surrounding Main St.
Along the way you might stumble across some amazing young artists like Jordan. He was debuting some outstanding artwork, ranging from original prints to digital. Take the opportunity to play some of the free games along the street and don’t be afraid to show off those skills.
After having had so many liquid calories, now it’s time for some delicious savory sweets!
Visit The Farmers Market, for some spicy goodness. This shop offers a wide range of spicy treats from jams to candies! If you feel a bit lost with the variety, then just ask the very helpful staff for some guidance. Now head on over to Judy’s for some delectable slices of heaven that are sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Before rushing over for a refill, make sure to stop by Buff City Soap, for a sample baggie full of delightfully scented plant based goodies that are made daily.
No better way to finish off your wine crawl, than to grab a glass at the Champagne Tower! Not only do they offer a vast selection of different flavored champagne, but they also have some yummy mimosas.

Main St. is always booming with amazing vendors, shops and people year-round. There are several events that are held annually, so keep an eye out for 40 days of festive Christmas fun. We hope to see you out at the next Main St. adventure!
